Our fixed recoverable costs (FRC) calculator illustrates the recoverable costs of a successful party at different stages of civil litigation in respect of claims valued up to £100,000.
Fixed recoverable costs (FRC) now apply to most civil litigation claims in England and Wales valued up to £100,000.
The extension of the FRC regime on 1 October 2023 applies to personal injury claims where the cause of action occurs after 1 October 2023, and to non-injury claims issued after this date. Our calculator is up to date to reflect the further amendments to FRC brought in on 6 April 2024.
Use our calculator below to calculate and forecast the amount of legal costs a winning party can recover from a losing party at different stages of a claim.
Kennedys provides this fixed recoverable costs (FRC) calculator to interested users and accepts no liability for any losses howsoever incurred through the use or misuse of this tool. This calculator does not take into account instances where a Claimant exceeds their own Part 36 offer at Trial, in which instances uplifts may apply.
